Job Description
The Insurance Sales Representative promotes and sells insurance products to individuals and businesses, identifying prospects, presenting policy options and managing the sales process from proposal to closure. The role involves maintaining accurate client records, coordinating with underwriting and claims teams, and achieving sales targets. Strong communication and customer‑service skills are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) in business, finance, marketing or related field.
- • Proven track record in insurance or financial services sales.
- • Strong knowledge of insurance products, policy structures and risk concepts.
- • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.

- • Identify and approach prospective clients for insurance products.
- • Explain policy features, benefits and pricing to meet client needs.
- • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and handle policy applications.
