Job Description
The Intelligence and Automation Lead drives the design and delivery of AI‑powered customer experiences, establishes agile ways of working, and leads the development of intelligent automation solutions for Safaricom.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field and a professional certification
- • Demonstrated analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities
- • Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
- • High integrity, accountability and professionalism
- • Proven planning, execution and results‑delivery experience
- • Ability to innovate, adapt and drive continuous improvement
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Define and implement agile practices across the Intelligence and Automation chapter
- • Design AI‑driven, omnichannel customer journeys that are predictive and personalized
- • Lead development of conversational AI, virtual assistants, and real‑time decisioning capabilities
- • Transition service delivery from reactive to autonomous, self‑healing models
- • Apply human‑centered design principles to enhance accessibility and adoption
- • Leverage advanced analytics and behavioral intelligence to inform commercial growth
- • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to scale automation initiatives
