Job Description
The Interior Designer Intern will support Ashut Engineers in creating interior design concepts, preparing drawings and selecting materials for client projects. The role offers hands‑on experience in design development, space planning and coordination with senior designers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or related discipline
- • Strong creative and visualisation skills with attention to detail
- • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp or Revit
- • Good communication and teamwork abilities
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Assist in developing interior design concepts and space‑planning layouts
- • Prepare detailed drawings and 3‑D visualisations using design software
- • Research and source materials, finishes and furnishings according to project specifications
- • Coordinate with senior designers and engineering teams to ensure design feasibility
- • Compile presentation boards and material palettes for client review
- • Maintain project files and documentation in an organized manner
