Job Description
The Engineering Intern will support the African Development Bank’s engineering projects through research, data analysis and report preparation. The role provides exposure to project planning and technical documentation while working under senior engineers. This entry‑level position is ideal for students pursuing an engineering degree.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Engineering
- • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic engineering software
- • Good written and verbal communication skills
- • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Assist senior engineers with technical research and data collection
- • Prepare project documentation, drawings and progress reports
- • Conduct basic analysis of engineering data and present findings
- • Support site visits and field measurements as required
- • Contribute to the preparation of feasibility studies and cost estimates
