Job Description
The Internal Audit Officer performs audit and investigative work for Access Bank Kenya, assessing financial and operational controls, preparing reports and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • First degree in any discipline (Bachelor’s degree required)
- • Professional membership such as ACIB, ACA, ACCA or CFA
- additional certifications (CIA, CISA, FRM, etc.) are advantageous
- • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in banking audit or audit function within a financial institution

- • Plan and execute financial and operational audits within the bank
- • Evaluate internal controls, identify gaps and recommend improvements
- • Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management
- • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies
- • Support development of audit methodologies and risk assessments
