Job Description
The internal auditor will plan and execute audits across the organisation, identify risks and control weaknesses, and recommend practical improvements. They will collaborate with management and the Board to develop risk‑mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies. Audit findings will be documented in clear reports that include recommendations and management responses.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- • CPA/CA professional qualification and ICPAK membership
- • Minimum 6 years relevant experience, including at least 3 years in FMCG
- • Experience with ERP systems and system‑audit procedures
- • Strong knowledge of internal audit practices, methodologies and standards
- • Good understanding of accounting, risk management and governance requirements
- • Experience leading or managing audit teams
- • External audit experience and familiarity with CAATs (preferred)
