Job Description
The Internal IT Auditor will evaluate and monitor Virtual Pay’s technical systems, infrastructure and core applications to ensure compliance with ISO 27001, PCI DSS and internal security policies. The role conducts technical audits of cloud environments, network configurations and the Cardholder Data Environment, and validates security controls at the root level. Findings are reported and remediation is coordinated with engineering and IT teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field and a professional certification in IT auditing or information security
- • Minimum 4 years of experience conducting technical audits in cloud and on‑premise environments
- • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001/2022, PCI DSS v4.0 and related security frameworks
- • Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure) and network security controls

Responsibilities
- • Audit system configurations, cloud architectures (OCI, AWS, Azure), operating systems and network parameters for alignment with ISO 27001/2022 and internal security manuals
- • Perform routine internal audits of the Cardholder Data Environment (CDE) as an Internal Security Assessor
- • Maintain data‑flow and network‑segmentation diagrams, review daily security logs and validate network boundaries
- • Conduct control testing and technical validation of security controls beyond documentation
- • Document audit findings, prepare reports and work with engineering teams to remediate identified gaps
