Job Description
The International Freight Forwarding Operator will manage day‑to‑day client interactions for air‑freight imports, ensuring documentation completeness, tracking file progress and escalating issues as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma in Clearing and Forwarding
- • Minimum three years’ experience in clearing and forwarding, preferably East Africa freight forwarding
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Handle operational relationship with clients for air‑freight imports
- • Receive and process client orders
- • Request missing documentation and provide detailed instructions
- • Update clients and internal teams on file processing progress
- • Record file status in monitoring software and archive files physically and electronically
- • Ensure client files contain all required attachments
- • Alert management to operational issues and escalate when necessary
