Job Description
The IOH Member Claims Representative processes medical, dental and vision claims, ensuring accurate adjudication in line with policy terms while meeting productivity and quality targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or Diploma in a relevant field
- • Relevant experience in claims processing or insurance operations preferred
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Analyze and adjudicate medical, dental and vision claims according to policy terms and conditions
- • Code, calculate and process reimbursements using the claims processing system
- • Communicate with internal teams to resolve issues and provide updates to stakeholders
- • Monitor turnaround times and ensure claims are settled within required timeframes
- • Manage complex cases with accuracy and personal attention
- • Stay current on medical information, policy updates and participate in training sessions
- • Identify and report inaccuracies in claim files to supervisors
