Job Description
The IT Intern provides first‑level technical support to staff, logs incidents, assists with system monitoring and helps maintain IT assets and documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Currently enrolled in a BA/BSc/HND program in IT, Computer Science or a related field
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- • Willingness to learn and work under supervision
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Provide first‑level technical support for hardware, software and connectivity issues
- • Log, update and follow up on incidents and service requests via the ticketing system
- • Assist with monitoring servers, applications and network infrastructure
- • Support routine IT maintenance such as updates, patches, backups and device configuration
- • Help with user onboarding and off‑boarding, asset management and equipment deployment
- • Assist in administering Google Workspace and other IT applications
- • Contribute to creating user guides, knowledge‑base articles and SOPs
- • Participate in IT projects and support shift rotations as needed
