Job Description
The IT Lead/Manager will oversee the deployment, maintenance, and security of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and end‑user devices. Responsibilities encompass configuring hardware, managing user access, documenting procedures, and guiding staff on AI and data‑privacy policies. The role requires a degree in IT or a related field and proven experience in managing IT teams and projects. Strong leadership and technical expertise are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- • Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and support teams.
- • Strong knowledge of networking, server administration, and security best practices.
- • Experience developing documentation and improving IT processes.
- • Ability to advise staff on AI usage and data‑privacy compliance.
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Deploy and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and remote access systems.
- • Install, rebuild, and configure servers, hardware, peripherals, services, directories, and storage in line with organizational standards.
- • Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, smartphones, and software solutions.
- • Develop and maintain documentation of deployment, installation, and configuration procedures.
- • Research and recommend innovative, automated approaches for system administration tasks.
- • Create, update, disable, and delete user accounts and access permissions as required.
- • Implement technology, security, data backup, and privacy best practices across the organization.
- • Guide staff on acceptable AI use while enforcing IT security and data privacy policies.
