Job Description
The IT Risk Manager supports the Head of Risk and Compliance by implementing cybersecurity controls, overseeing data‑risk analytics, and ensuring the bank’s IT systems meet regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- • Experience in technology information cybersecurity risk management, preferably in banking
- • Knowledge of the TICS framework and BCBS 239 data‑governance standards
- • Strong analytical and risk‑assessment capabilities
- • Ability to develop and implement IT policies, standards, and procedures
- • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Assist the Head of Risk and Compliance in applying IT and cybersecurity controls according to the TICS framework
- • Oversee data‑analytics strategy for IT and cyber‑risk reporting within the subsidiary
- • Manage data standards and governance in line with BCBS 239 requirements
- • Support digitisation of key IT‑governance processes, including policies, standards, and procedures
- • Coordinate IT staffing and head‑count planning
- • Address audit findings and remediate IT‑risk issues
- • Promote a strong risk culture through initiatives and training
- • Review new systems and products for compliance with risk standards
