Job Description
The IT & Systems Engineer will design, develop and maintain scalable enterprise solutions, focusing on NetSuite customizations, integrations and workflow automation to improve data integrity and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field (BA/BSc/HND)
- • Professional certificate or relevant training in ERP systems
- • Minimum 3 years of experience in systems/software engineering or application development
- • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP platforms is an advantage
- • Strong knowledge of system design, security and scalability principles
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Design and develop scalable system architecture and technical solutions supporting core business processes
- • Build, customize and maintain NetSuite applications using JavaScript (ES5/ES6) and other languages as needed
- • Create and manage custom records, fields, forms and reports within the ERP
- • Develop REST and SOAP API integrations with external platforms
- • Optimize database design, queries and overall system performance
- • Automate business processes through workflow and script development
- • Conduct testing, debugging and performance tuning of applications
- • Collaborate with administrators, developers and business stakeholders to deliver secure, well‑governed enhancements
