Job Description
The JSS Teacher delivers engaging Mathematics and Computer lessons aligned with the Competency‑Based Education curriculum, prepares instructional materials, and assesses learner progress. The teacher maintains classroom discipline, integrates technology into teaching, and records student performance. Collaboration with colleagues and participation in co‑curricular activities are also required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or Degree in Education with specialization in Mathematics and Computer Studies or ICT
- • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably under the CBE system
- • Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC)
- • Strong classroom management and communication skills
- • Proficiency in digital learning platforms

- • Plan and deliver Mathematics and Computer lessons following the CBE framework
- • Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, teaching resources, and assessments
- • Assess learners, monitor academic progress, and provide feedback
