Job Description
The Junior Data Scientist will support the data team by turning raw data into actionable insights that drive credit, product, and operational decisions. Responsibilities include writing SQL queries, preparing business reports, and conducting exploratory analysis. The role also involves analyzing loan performance metrics and supporting customer segmentation projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as BA, BSc, or HND.
- • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities
- • Write SQL queries to extract, clean, transform, and analyze data.
- • Prepare recurring business and portfolio reports.
- • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- • Respond to data requests from credit, product, operations, finance, and other teams.
- • Validate reported metrics and investigate data discrepancies.
- • Analyze loan repayment behavior and lending performance metrics such as PAR, DPD, disbursements, and collections.
- • Perform customer segmentation analyses.
