Job Description
The Junior MRV Accounting Officer supports the MRV team by processing payments, managing expense reimbursements, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role collaborates with country coordinators, finance, HR, vendors and contractors to ensure timely and compliant transactions. Attention to detail, strong organization and proficiency with Excel are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting, reconciliations and budget tracking
- • Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
- • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder communication skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Prepare and process daily field allowances and electronic fund transfers for enumerators
- • Verify payment requests against company policies and submit payment request forms
- • Ensure timely payments to vendors, suppliers, contractors and employees
- • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between invoices, expense forms and payment requests
- • Maintain up‑to‑date records of all payment transactions and supporting documentation
- • Perform regular reconciliations of accounts and assist with budgeting and payroll support
