Job Description
The Land Surveying/Geo‑Spatial Intern will support senior surveyors in field data collection, spatial data processing, and preparation of survey maps and reports for land administration projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Currently enrolled in a Diploma or Bachelor’s program in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field
- • Basic knowledge of surveying techniques and GIS applications
- • Strong computer skills, particularly with ArcGIS or similar software
- • Ability to work outdoors and follow safety protocols
- • Good communication and teamwork abilities
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Assist senior surveyors in field data collection using GPS and total station equipment
- • Process and analyze spatial data using GIS software
- • Prepare survey maps, reports, and documentation
- • Support the preparation of land boundary and cadastral records
- • Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration
