Job Description
The Lead, Pandemic Sciences collaborates with partners and youth to design and deliver health‑focused programmes across Africa. The role steers partnership development, co‑creates proposals, and ensures high‑quality implementation of the Pandemic Sciences Collaborative. It also oversees governance structures, monitors progress and reports outcomes to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) required
- Master’s degree (MBA/MSc/MA) preferred
- • Minimum 10 years of experience in project or programme management, preferably in health or youth‑focused initiatives
- • Demonstrated ability to build and manage high‑level partnerships
- • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- • Proven track record of delivering results in fast‑paced environments
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Design and deliver the Pandemic Sciences Collaborative and related health programmes
- • Co‑create proposals with prospective partners and manage partnership agreements
- • Advise partners on implementation, progress tracking and learning
- • Coordinate with internal teams to strengthen existing and new partnerships
- • Support governance structures, organise partner meetings and produce reports
- • Represent the Foundation in stakeholder engagements and youth‑centred initiatives
