Job Description
The Learning Management System Technical Support Consultant will configure, customise and maintain the LMS for UNEP, ensuring it meets the organisation’s digital learning requirements. The consultant will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues and train users to maximise platform adoption.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
- • Minimum 3+ years of experience managing and supporting LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas)
- • Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities
- • Excellent communication and training skills
- • Familiarity with e‑learning standards and best practices
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Set up and configure LMS modules to align with UNEP’s learning objectives
- • Customise system features, user roles and access permissions
- • Provide day‑to‑day technical support and resolve user issues
- • Conduct training sessions for administrators and end‑users
- • Develop documentation and user guides for LMS functionalities
- • Monitor system performance and implement upgrades as needed
