Job Description
The Lecturer in Animal Sciences delivers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervises research projects and contributes to curriculum development within the Department of Animal Sciences. The role requires a PhD and extensive knowledge in animal nutrition, breeding, genetics and livestock production systems. Engagement with professional bodies and industry partners enhances the academic programme.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • PhD in Animal Sciences, Animal Production or a closely related field
- • Master's degree in a related discipline
- • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Animal Health or related field
- • Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., APSK, KVB)
- • Demonstrated teaching experience at university level or relevant research/industry experience
