Job Description
The Lecturer will teach courses in Geodetic Science, Hydrography and Engineering Surveying, preparing students for professional practice in surveying and marine environments. Duties include delivering lectures, developing curricula, supervising fieldwork and research, and contributing to departmental development. The role also supports industry partnerships and curriculum relevance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Master’s Degree in Geodetic Science, Hydrography, Surveying Engineering or a related field
- • Proven teaching experience at the university level
- • Strong research background in surveying or hydrographic sciences

- • Deliver lectures and practical sessions on geodetic science, hydrography and engineering surveying
- • Design and update course syllabi, laboratory exercises and assessment methods
- • Supervise student fieldwork, projects and research theses
- • Conduct research and publish findings in relevant scientific outlets
- • Participate in departmental committees, curriculum reviews and accreditation activities
- • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners and professional bodies
