Job Description
The Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering will teach undergraduate courses in manufacturing and material science, conduct research, and contribute to the university’s academic output through publications and professional engagement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • PhD or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- • Minimum 3 years teaching experience at university level or equivalent research/industry experience
- • At least 24 publication points, with 16 from refereed journals
- • Registration or eligibility with the relevant professional engineering body
- • Valid practicing professional certificate where applicable
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Deliver lectures, tutorials and practical sessions in mechanical engineering subjects
- • Supervise student projects, theses and laboratory work
- • Conduct research and publish findings in refereed journals
- • Participate in curriculum development and academic committees
- • Maintain professional registration and uphold academic standards
