Job Description
The Lecturer – Optometrist is responsible for delivering theoretical and practical optometry education to students, supervising clinical practice, and assessing student performance. The role also contributes to curriculum development and may engage in research activities within the college.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Optometry (Master’s preferred)
- • Registration with the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board (ODOB)
- • Demonstrated teaching experience at the tertiary level
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- • Deliver lectures and tutorials on optometry subjects
- • Conduct laboratory and clinical sessions for hands‑on training
- • Supervise student clinical placements and patient care activities
