Job Description
The Legal Counsel provides comprehensive legal support to the Corporate Investment Bank and Commercial Services, advising on transactions, regulatory matters, and risk mitigation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Law degree (LL.B) and admission to the bar.
- • Minimum 5 years experience in corporate banking or financial services law.
- • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and transactional law.
- • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- • Ability to work independently and collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities
- • Advise CIB and Commercial Services on legal aspects of deals and contracts.
- • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and financing documents.
- • Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
- • Support dispute resolution and manage litigation matters as needed.
- • Provide training on legal and regulatory updates to business units.
- • Coordinate with external counsel and regulatory authorities.
