Job Description
The Legal Counsel – Conveyancing will safeguard Username’s legal interests by managing property transactions, land acquisitions, and due diligence processes. The role oversees conveyancing activities, ensures titles are prepared accurately, and supports finance, IP, and operational matters. Providing comprehensive legal advice, the counsel also drafts, negotiates, and executes commercial agreements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or Postgraduate Diploma in Law or a related field
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in conveyancing, property transactions, or related legal practice
- • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and high integrity
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Track and manage property transfers at various land registries
- • Monitor subdivision processes to ensure timely completion
- • Maintain organized, up‑to‑date project files with all essential completion documents
- • Ensure titles for each project are prepared and available
- • Provide legal support on finance‑related matters, intellectual property, and operational issues
- • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks
- • Draft, review, negotiate, and execute legal and commercial agreements
- • Represent the company in legal proceedings when required
