Job Description
The Legal Counsel, Risk & Compliance professional provides the bank with up‑to‑date legal analysis, monitors regulatory developments and advises on policy adjustments to mitigate risk. They review legislation, judicial decisions and market trends, and draft recommendations to ensure the bank’s operations remain compliant. Strong analytical and advisory skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- • Review legislation, proposed bills, judicial decisions and market trends affecting the bank
- • Advise senior management on necessary policy changes to maintain compliance
- • Draft and update internal policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements
- • Conduct legal risk assessments and provide mitigation recommendations
- • Support the bank’s risk and compliance teams with legal expertise
