The Legal Officer will manage all legal and regulatory matters related to digital lending and fintech operations, including payments, remittance, and associated financial services. The role involves providing legal advice, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and drafting contracts and policies. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for navigating the evolving regulatory landscape.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Law degree (LLB) and admission to the bar in Kenya
- • Experience in fintech, digital lending, or financial services law
- • Strong knowledge of Kenyan financial regulations and compliance frameworks
- • Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills
- • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams
