Job Description
The Legal Officer provides legal advice and support to Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating mortgage financing transactions. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing contracts, managing legal documentation, and advising on risk mitigation. The role works closely with business units to support the company’s operations and strategic initiatives. This is a full‑time position based in Nairobi.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
- • Relevant legal qualification and admission to the Kenyan Bar.
- • Strong understanding of finance, banking, and mortgage legislation.
- • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

- • Provide legal advice and support to business units on mortgage financing and related transactions.

- • Ensure compliance with Kenyan laws, regulations, and internal policies.
