Job Description
The Librarian II supports Kenya Medical Training College by organizing and maintaining both digital and print collections, assisting students and staff with research inquiries, and ensuring efficient circulation of materials. The role includes cataloguing new resources, managing library databases, and providing training on information‑retrieval tools. Additionally, the librarian contributes to the development of library policies and promotes effective use of ICT resources across the campus.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Management or a related field
- • Proficiency with library management systems and basic ICT tools
- • Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
- • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
