Job Description
The Linguist Recruiter & Interpreter sources, screens, and onboards interpreters and translators for African languages while also delivering interpretation services. They work closely with staffing and operations teams to fill language gaps and maintain a productive bench of language professionals. The role requires strong recruiting, communication, and multilingual abilities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or equivalent qualification
- • Minimum 2 years experience in recruiting or linguistic roles
- • Strong communication, problem‑solving and ownership mindset
- • High degree of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism
- • Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Source, screen and onboard interpreters and translators across African and lesser‑diffused languages
- • Deliver interpretation and translation services in assigned language pairs
- • Collaborate with the Staffing Solutions recruiting team, Interpretation Operations and the VP of Staffing to close language‑availability gaps
- • Manage the interpreter bench to ensure registrations are complete and active
- • Conduct recruiting activities to build a pipeline of qualified language professionals
- • Provide high‑quality interpretation for client engagements as needed
- • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and integrity in all linguistic work
