The Loan Recovery Assistant will manage the collection process to ensure timely repayment of loans, applying fair and effective recovery techniques while keeping the portfolio at risk below target levels. The role involves contacting borrowers, negotiating repayment plans and reporting on collection performance. A detail‑oriented candidate with good communication skills is essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma in Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- • Experience in loan collections or credit control preferred.
- • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- • Ability to work with numbers and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities
- • Contact borrowers to remind and negotiate repayment of outstanding loans.
- • Implement debt recovery procedures in line with company policies.
- • Monitor portfolio at risk and aim to keep it below 5%.
- • Prepare regular reports on collection activities and delinquency trends.
- • Collaborate with credit officers to resolve disputes and minimize losses.
