Job Description
The Logbook Loan Officer originates and processes logbook loan applications, conducting client assessments, verifying documentation and entering data into loan management systems. The role evaluates vehicle and borrower information, supports underwriting decisions and ensures compliance with internal policies. It also provides customer service, explains loan products and maintains accurate records throughout the loan lifecycle.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field
- • Experience in loan operations, micro‑finance or banking, preferably with logbook or asset‑backed loans
- • Strong understanding of finance principles, credit assessment and risk evaluation
- • Proficiency in computer applications and loan management systems
- • Excellent attention to detail, numerical skills and ability to meet targets and deadlines
