Job Description
The Senior Logistics Coordinator oversees the planning and execution of inbound and outbound shipments for Sucafina, ensuring timely and cost‑effective movement of goods. The role coordinates with transporters, forwarders and internal teams to maintain accurate documentation and monitor logistics performance. Responsibilities include shipment scheduling, cost control and risk mitigation across the supply chain. The position requires at least five years of logistics experience and strong leadership abilities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field
- • Minimum 5 years of relevant logistics or supply‑chain experience
- • Strong knowledge of shipment documentation, customs procedures and cost control
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems
- • Demonstrated leadership, reporting and customer‑service skills

Responsibilities
- • Coordinate shipment planning, transportation, documentation and port delivery for inbound and outbound cargo
- • Monitor shipment schedules to ensure cargo is loaded and dispatched within agreed timelines
- • Liaise with warehouse teams, forwarders and carriers to guarantee cargo readiness and accurate paperwork
- • Ensure logistics documentation is complete, accurate and available according to KPI requirements
- • Track logistics costs, identify cost‑saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce demurrage and delays
- • Provide regular performance updates and risk assessments to stakeholders
- • Resolve logistics issues promptly through cross‑functional collaboration
