Job Description
The Logistics Fleet & Service Center Manager will oversee vehicle tracking, maintenance, and depot operations to ensure efficient fleet performance. They will generate utilization reports, manage parts inventory, and guarantee compliance with legal and safety regulations. The role also includes leading workshop and car‑wash staff and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Degree or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Fleet Management or a related field
- • Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience managing commercial vehicle fleets and supervising automotive workshop/service centre operations
- • Strong technical knowledge of fleet management systems and vehicle maintenance procedures
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Monitor real‑time vehicle tracking systems, driver performance, routes, fuel consumption and trip logs
- • Generate regular fleet utilization and performance reports
- • Supervise scheduled preventive maintenance, routine servicing and emergency repairs for all company vehicles
- • Manage daily depot and car‑wash operations, ensuring cleanliness and orderly workflow
- • Oversee parts inventory and manage supplier relationships for workshop supplies
- • Ensure fleet compliance with legal requirements, NTSA regulations, insurance, speed governors and inspection certificates
- • Supervise, schedule and evaluate workshop mechanics, car‑wash staff and fleet support personnel
