Job Description
The Logistics/Transport Manager will oversee fleet operations, transportation planning, and supply‑chain activities for Danco Capital’s manufacturing business. Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or equivalent degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- • 4–6 years of experience in logistics, transport or supply‑chain management
- • Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making abilities
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- • Demonstrated leadership and team‑management capabilities
- • Ability to develop and implement cost‑reduction initiatives
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Develop and manage the fleet budget, monitoring expenses and cost drivers
- • Coordinate transportation schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials
- • Identify logistics inefficiencies and implement strategies to improve processes
- • Oversee compliance with regulatory and safety requirements
- • Lead and mentor the logistics team, fostering collaboration and performance
- • Optimize routing and load planning to reduce fuel consumption and costs
- • Collaborate with procurement and production departments to align supply‑chain activities
