Job Description
The Maintenance Engineer leads the factory’s maintenance programme, ensuring equipment reliability, optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. The role develops preventive maintenance plans, diagnoses breakdowns, and coordinates repairs to minimise production downtime. It also manages maintenance budgets, supervises technicians and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
- • Proven experience in industrial maintenance and equipment reliability
- • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits and PLC controls
- • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- • Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
