Job Description
The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems at Severin Sea Lodge operate reliably in a remote bush setting. They lead a team of technicians, implement preventive maintenance plans, and coordinate repairs to minimise guest disruption while upholding safety and hygiene standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND qualification
- • At least 3 years experience in hotel, lodge or safari‑camp maintenance, including 1 year supervising technicians
- • Proven ability to run a full maintenance shift and implement preventive maintenance plans

Responsibilities
- • Lead daily maintenance activities to keep guest areas, plant and camp infrastructure reliable
- • Plan and execute preventive maintenance routines to reduce recurring breakdowns
- • Supervise, coach and allocate tasks to technicians while keeping the workshop organized
- • Respond promptly to maintenance requests, especially guest‑facing faults, and ensure timely resolution
- • Maintain continuous operation of power, water and backup systems
- • Coordinate repairs with Operations, Housekeeping and F&B to minimise impact on guests
- • Protect tools, stock and company property and keep accurate records and shift reports
- • Enforce safety, hygiene and professional standards in guest areas
