Job Description
The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor will plan, supervise and execute mechanical maintenance for the ERW plant, ensuring high equipment availability and reliability. They will lead preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs, manage spare parts, and coordinate shutdowns and breakdown interventions. Continuous improvement initiatives will be driven to reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- • Minimum of 3–5 years experience supervising mechanical maintenance in an ERW tube mill or similar industrial environment

Responsibilities
- • Prepare and implement preventive, predictive and corrective mechanical maintenance plans for ERW mills and related equipment
- • Identify recurring breakdowns, lead root‑cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions
- • Plan, assign, supervise and coordinate day‑to‑day mechanical maintenance work, shutdown jobs and breakdown interventions
- • Manage effective spare‑parts inventory and procurement
- • Liaise with production, quality, electrical maintenance, procurement and stores teams to ensure smooth plant operations
- • Monitor contractor work, verify technical quality and ensure completion according to scope and safety standards
- • Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives aimed at reducing downtime, improving mill performance, lowering maintenance costs and enhancing product quality
