Job Description
The Manager, General & Forensic Audit leads the audit function for Kenya Power, establishing policies, conducting assessments, and directing forensic investigations to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance. The role oversees audit teams, evaluates internal controls, and reports findings to senior management. It plays a critical part in risk mitigation and continuous improvement of financial processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA or ACCA preferred)
- • Minimum of five years of experience in audit, with at least two years in forensic audit
- • Strong knowledge of Kenyan financial regulations and auditing standards
- • Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills
- • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple audit engagements
