Job Description
The Manager – International Voice will grow Safaricom's international wholesale voice portfolio through strategic partnerships, commercial innovation and network optimisation, while safeguarding revenue and ensuring service quality.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (MBA/MSc/MA preferred) in Business, Telecommunications or related field
- • At least 5 years experience in international voice, wholesale or interconnect
- • Strong leadership, analytical and negotiation skills
- • Proven ability to manage complex commercial projects

Responsibilities
- • Lead growth and transformation of the international voice portfolio
- • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with carriers, OTTs and enterprises
- • Negotiate commercial agreements and optimise routing for cost efficiency
- • Oversee LCR governance, revenue protection and traffic integrity
- • Use data‑driven insights and AI tools to improve performance
- • Drive automation and agile execution of commercial initiatives
- • Commercialise new voice opportunities and manage a high‑performing team
