Job Description
Managers and Senior Managers at IDinsight provide strategic, evidence‑based guidance to high‑impact clients, overseeing complex projects from design through delivery. They build trusted advisor relationships, manage multidisciplinary teams, and ensure technical excellence across evaluations and analyses. The role demands strong leadership, analytical expertise, and the ability to translate data into actionable policy recommendations. It is suited for professionals with extensive experience in development consulting and quantitative research.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • MBA, MSc, MA, or PhD/Fellowship in a relevant discipline
- • Minimum 6–10 years experience in project or program management, preferably in development or impact consulting
- • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including econometrics and data science
- • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships
- • Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience producing policy briefs and technical reports

Responsibilities
- • Lead client engagements and build trusted advisor relationships with governments, foundations, NGOs, and impact‑focused businesses
- • Oversee all aspects of client projects to deliver high‑quality outputs that generate social impact
- • Provide strategic counsel and serve as a subject‑matter expert to senior client leaders
- • Manage client expectations and navigate complex stakeholder dynamics throughout project lifecycles
- • Drive technical excellence by guiding methodology, analytical approaches, and evaluation design
- • Direct project teams’ technical work, including research methodology and data analysis
- • Engage internal and external experts to strengthen project rigor and quality
- • Apply econometric, data‑science, field‑experiment, and qualitative methods to select appropriate tools
- • Create and review high‑quality deliverables such as policy briefs, technical reports, and presentations
