Job Description
The Managing Consultant will drive services business development across East Africa, targeting financial institutions, fintechs, merchants, telcos and public‑sector customers. The consultant will identify commercial opportunities, build business cases and manage internal processes while influencing senior stakeholders. Strong analytical, commercial and relationship‑management capabilities are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND)
- MBA, MSc or MA is advantageous
- • Proven experience in consulting, financial services, banking, fintech or technology‑enabled business development

- • Identify and pursue growth opportunities for Mastercard Services across financial institutions, fintechs, merchants, telcos and public‑sector clients in East Africa
- • Engage senior client stakeholders to understand needs and propose suitable solutions
- • Develop commercial proposals and business cases to secure new contracts
- • Manage internal strategic and operational processes to support deal execution
- • Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform growth strategies
- • Build and maintain relationships across a complex matrix organization
- • Provide analytical insights and recommendations to senior leadership
