Job Description
The Marketing Officer will design and execute recruitment and promotional campaigns for the university’s programmes, events and facilities. Responsibilities include managing social‑media channels, creating marketing collateral, and generating leads from prospective students and partner organisations. The role also involves reporting on campaign performance and supporting event marketing activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
- • Minimum of three years’ experience in marketing, business development or sales
- • Proven ability to manage digital and social‑media campaigns
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Creative mindset with attention to detail
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Develop and launch marketing campaigns to attract students and promote university programmes
- • Manage social‑media platforms, digital advertising and website content
- • Create marketing materials such as posters, videos, brochures and online posts
- • Promote university facilities including conference rooms, accommodation and event spaces
- • Generate and follow up leads from students, corporations, NGOs, churches and government bodies
- • Support marketing for conferences, meetings, weddings and other university events
- • Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders to increase visibility
- • Represent the university at exhibitions, school visits and networking events
- • Monitor campaign metrics, social‑media engagement and lead conversion rates
- • Prepare simple performance reports and recommend improvements
