Job Description
The Teacher of Science (Maternity Cover) will deliver the British curriculum science programme to primary students, create engaging lessons, and assess student progress. The role requires a relevant science degree and extensive experience in British curriculum schools, along with strong communication and organisational skills. The teacher will collaborate with parents and colleagues to foster a supportive learning environment and adapt teaching methods to diverse abilities. Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Education (or equivalent teaching qualification)
- • Significant experience teaching in British‑curriculum schools (13 years)
- • Strong communication skills with students, parents and staff
- • Proven ability to create engaging, differentiated science lessons
- • Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities
- • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection standards, with a valid Certificate of Good Conduct
