Job Description
The Mechanical Intern will support the engineering team at Kenya Pipeline Company by assisting with equipment inspections, maintenance tasks, and documentation. The role provides hands‑on exposure to pipeline operations and mechanical systems. Interns will gain practical experience while contributing to project deliverables under senior supervision.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Mechanical Engineering diploma or degree program
- • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- • Basic knowledge of CAD software and MS Office
- • Ability to work safely in an industrial environment
- • Good communication and teamwork skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Assist senior engineers with routine maintenance and inspections of mechanical equipment
- • Prepare and update technical reports and maintenance logs
- • Support the installation and testing of pipeline components
- • Conduct basic troubleshooting and recommend corrective actions
- • Participate in safety briefings and adhere to company procedures
