Job Description
The Medical Officer at RFH Healthcare will provide clinical care, coordinate patient discharge, liaise with insurance providers, and participate in quality audits to ensure high standards of medical service.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from a recognized university
- • Valid license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council
- • Minimum 2–3 years of clinical practice experience
- • Knowledge of ICD‑10/11 coding and Kenya health insurance landscape
- • Management experience is an advantage
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Review and monitor clinical progress of in‑patient and out‑patient cases
- • Coordinate discharge planning with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient transitions
- • Liaise with insurance providers and manage documentation for claims
- • Communicate medical updates and treatment plans to patients and families
- • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
