Job Description

The role involves assessing, investigating and prescribing treatment for patients, including follow‑up care for in‑patients. The officer will refer cases to specialists when needed and be available on call during nights, weekends and public holidays. A Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent, registration with KMPDC and ACLS/ATLS certification are required. Strong leadership, communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • • Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent
  • • Registration with KMPDC and a valid practice license
  • • Certification in ACLS and ATLS or equivalent training
  • • Demonstrated leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • • Computer proficiency
  • • Previous experience in a busy hospital is an advantage
