Job Description
The Medical Sales Representative promotes a portfolio of medical supplies to hospitals, clinics and pharmacies, driving revenue growth within the assigned territory. Responsibilities include identifying new customers, conducting product demonstrations, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role also involves tracking sales activities, gathering market intelligence and achieving defined sales targets. Candidates must be results‑oriented, possess strong communication skills and be comfortable traveling extensively.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or Diploma in a relevant field
- • Minimum 3 years of experience in medical sales, healthcare or related customer‑service roles
- • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- • Strong networking, relationship‑building and negotiation skills
- • Ability to travel extensively within the territory
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Promote and sell the company’s medical products to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and other healthcare providers
- • Identify and develop new customer and business opportunities within the assigned territory
- • Conduct regular client visits, product demonstrations and presentations
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers
- • Follow up on leads, quotations, orders and customer enquiries to close sales
- • Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales activities and pipeline
- • Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on customer needs, competitor activities and market trends
- • Participate in product demonstrations, exhibitions and medical events
