Job Description
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer will design, develop and maintain custom extensions, reports and integrations for the ERP system. Working closely with finance, supply‑chain and IT teams, the developer translates business requirements into technical solutions and ensures high‑quality delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field
- • 3–5+ years hands‑on experience developing on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or Dynamics AX)
- • Microsoft certifications such as MB‑500 and/or MB‑300 preferred
- • Strong X++ development skills and familiarity with the extension framework
- • Experience with data entities, DMF, SSRS and Electronic Reporting
- • Knowledge of integration techniques and Azure services
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Capture, analyze and document technical requirements across Finance and Operations modules
- • Translate functional design documents into clear technical design documents
- • Develop customizations and extensions using X++ within the extension framework
- • Build and modify tables, forms, data entities, workflows and security objects
- • Create SSRS reports and configure Electronic Reporting as needed
- • Develop and maintain integrations using OData, Data Management Framework, Logic Apps and Azure Functions
- • Support data migration activities and configure dual‑write integration with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement
- • Manage ALM processes through Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services, including code branching, builds and deployments
- • Conduct unit testing, support SIT/UAT and resolve defects
- • Perform performance tuning, query optimization and post‑go‑live support
- • Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to internal knowledge bases
