Job Description
The Midtail Associate leads the incubation of newly acquired sellers, ensuring they achieve sales within their first month, while overseeing the broader Midtail segment. The role manages a team of associates, drives adoption of growth tools, monitors performance metrics, and improves platform self‑service to reduce manual support.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or HND in any discipline
- • Strong leadership and team‑management abilities
- • Proficiency in Excel and data‑visualisation tools

Responsibilities
- • Lead the incubation phase for newly onboarded sellers to achieve their first sales within 30 days
- • Oversee the Midtail seller segment, ensuring activation and retention targets are met
- • Manage a team of incubation associates and account managers, setting clear KPIs
- • Promote Jumia growth tools such as Sponsored Products and Jumia Express to boost seller visibility
- • Monitor seller performance metrics like success rate and churn using PowerBI dashboards
- • Enhance platform self‑service features to reduce manual support for Midtail sellers
